What did being named a finalist mean to you and your team?
We were honoured to be selected as a finalist in the ESPIC Care Awards. Being recognised alongside so many dedicated and compassionate individuals, all making a genuine difference to people’s lives, meant a great deal. We were grateful for the opportunity and to attend such a special evening.
How has this recognition impacted your service or the people you support?
Winning has had a meaningful impact on our service. It has boosted team morale, giving staff a strong sense of pride and validation for the care and dedication they show every day. The recognition reinforces the value of our work and motivates us to continue striving for excellence.
What would you say to others in the care sector thinking of entering this year?
We would strongly encourage others across the care sector to put themselves forward. Entering is a great opportunity to reflect on the incredible work delivered every day—something that is often overlooked.
